Happy Summer's End, Openers!

We may have beat the heat, but we're still on fire. First, we have a few new podcast interviews out:

-Normalizing Non-Monogamy: -Open Late: Second, the first three episodes have over 1 MILLION views online now. Wow. They like us, they really like us!

We've been accepted into two welcoming, wonderful festivals: Cinema Diverse in Palm Springs, and OUT at the Movies in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Finally, we've currently raised $20k of our $60k goal for Episodes 10 - 12! Please donate here if you're able, and thank you for helping make more queer content:

Hi Openers!

Happy Pride Month! It’s been a thrill to celebrate with our favorite queer people and allies the past few weeks. And since we love gay things so much, we’re pleased to announce we’ll be filming three more episodes of Open to It this fall! But we need your help to make it happen.

The next few episodes include some very important topics. Episode 10 features a gay Deaf character figuring out how to date a gay hearing…couple. Episode 11 features a drag queen story hour that gets interrupted by protestors. Our queens must stand up for their rights - all our rights. And the season finale will be performed entirely by - that’s right - puppets! If you loved Avenue Q - well, the choreo will be similar to Loud as the Hell You Want. If you’re able to donate, please click here, and thank you all for considering:

In other news: not only did we screen Episode 4 at NewFilmmakers LA yesterday, we were nominated for two Best of NewFilmmakers Awards for Episode 1 last year: Best Comedy Performance for me, and Best New Media / Experimental for the show. We lost the latter to Megan Thee Stallion, but we get it.

I’ve also been doing more interviews of late!

-Pretty Depressed - a mental health podcast:

-Talk About Gay Sex - I think you can guess what this one is about:

-Instinct Magazine - one of the leading queer LGBTQ+ publications:

Finally, our videos now have over 800k views online! Distribution / release talks on 4 - 9 are paused in light of the writers’ strike, but I’ll look forward to updating you when the time is right. In the meantime, you can catch new episodes in person in LA on the third Monday of each month for Planet Queer! Thrilled for our queer family there, online, and everywhere. Love you all, and thanks so much for reading.

Howdy Openers,

Plenty of queer updates for you today! We screened the brand-new Episode 4 of Open to It, "Open to Voyeurism," at Wicked Queer: Boston's LGBTQ+ Film Festival, where we first debuted the series last year. You can watch Episode 4 this month only at:

We had so much fun screening Episode 1 at Planet Queer night at Akbar, that we went back to show Episode 2 last night! Hoping to return with more episodes soon. Fantastic local event all about weird cool experimental art:

My episode of Queer Words just debuted! A podcast all about LGBTQIA+ writers and their inspirations:

The LA premiere of Episode 4 will be at NewFilmmakers Los Angeles on Saturday, April 17. Expect that episode and more to drop later this year. We've finished editing 7 - 9, and so proud of how everything turned out - especially the Christmas episode.

Finally, the show has now hit over 250k views on YouTube. We're growing AND showing!
